The Imperial Safety Razor features a handle that is handcrafted fromKarelian birch burl – one of the most distinctive and rare woods in the world. Wood was imported from Finland for this limited edition gem. Karelian birch is famed for being used in the manufacture of a Faberge egg made for the last Tsar of Russia, Nicholas II. The egg featured the birch set in a gold frame and was the only Faberge egg to feature wood.
